These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CaLeo Academy learning platform at learn.caleoacademy.com, including courses, lessons, assessments, learning resources, live or recorded sessions, certificates, communications and related educational services.

CaLeo Academy is a CaLeo.life initiative.

In these Terms, “CaLeo Academy”, “CaLeo”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of CaLeo Academy. “User”, “you” and “your” include students, learners, parents, guardians, teachers and other persons using the Platform.

By registering for an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a Service or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and User Accounts

You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

You must not:

  • share your login credentials with another person;
  • permit multiple learners to use a single-user account unless expressly allowed;
  • impersonate another person;
  • provide false or misleading registration information;
  • attempt to access another user’s account; or
  • circumvent Platform security or access controls.

CaLeo Academy may request verification of identity, age, enrolment information or parent/guardian details when reasonably required for security, certification, academic administration or legal compliance.

2. Learners Under 18 Years of Age

CaLeo Academy provides educational services to school-age learners, and some users may be under 18 years of age.

Where required, a learner under 18 may need the involvement or consent of a parent or lawful guardian.

A parent or guardian creating, approving or managing an account for a child confirms that they:

  • are authorised to act for the child;
  • have provided accurate information;
  • understand the educational Services being provided; and
  • accept these Terms to the extent applicable to the child’s use of the Platform.

CaLeo Academy may introduce or update age-verification and parental-consent procedures in accordance with applicable law.

Where parent accounts are available, a verified parent or guardian may be given access to selected learner information such as:

  • enrolments;
  • attendance;
  • course progress;
  • assignments;
  • assessments;
  • results;
  • notifications; and
  • certificates.

3. Courses and Educational Services

CaLeo Academy may offer education and training in areas including:

  • school education;
  • Classes 11 and 12;
  • NEET;
  • JEE;
  • competitive examinations;
  • recruitment examinations;
  • NDA and related programmes;
  • languages;
  • self-development;
  • medical education;
  • paramedical education;
  • first aid;
  • occupational health;
  • AFIH-related learning;
  • technical skills;
  • robotics;
  • hobbies; and
  • professional education.

Courses may be delivered:

  • online;
  • offline;
  • in hybrid format;
  • through recorded lessons;
  • through live instruction;
  • as self-paced programmes; or
  • through combinations of these formats.

Course content, faculty, schedules, lessons, assessments and resources may be updated where reasonably necessary to improve academic quality, correct errors, reflect curriculum or regulatory changes or maintain the Service.

4. Course Enrolment and Access

The duration and nature of access to a course will ordinarily be displayed on the course page or at the time of enrolment.

Access may be:

  • for a specified period;
  • until an examination or academic session;
  • subscription-based;
  • permanent while the relevant course continues to be supported; or
  • subject to another stated condition.

If “lifetime access” is offered, it means access while CaLeo Academy continues to operate and support that course or substantially equivalent learning content. It does not create an obligation to maintain a particular technology or course indefinitely.

5. Fees and Payments

Some CaLeo Academy Services are free, while others require payment.

Prices, discounts, scholarships, coupons, taxes and other commercial terms will ordinarily be displayed before purchase.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.

If an obvious technical or pricing error occurs, CaLeo Academy may correct the error and provide an appropriate remedy where payment has already been made.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the CaLeo Academy Refund, Cancellation & Course Access Policy displayed on the Platform and any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

Users should review the applicable refund conditions before completing a purchase.

Nothing in these Terms restricts consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Scholarships and Concessions

CaLeo Academy may provide scholarships, concessions or sponsored enrolments directly or in association with charitable organisations or educational initiatives.

Scholarships may be subject to eligibility conditions such as:

  • financial need;
  • academic performance;
  • attendance;
  • documentation requirements; or
  • programme-specific conditions.

Scholarships and concessions do not normally have cash value and do not create a permanent entitlement.

Where applicable, programmes may be supported by Laxmi Charitable Trust or another participating organisation.

8. Educational Results

CaLeo Academy aims to provide accurate, relevant and high-quality educational content.

However, academic outcomes depend on many factors, including individual effort, prior knowledge, attendance, examination conditions and performance.

Enrolment therefore does not guarantee:

  • examination success;
  • a particular NEET, JEE or board examination score;
  • admission to any institution;
  • employment;
  • recruitment;
  • promotion; or
  • professional advancement.

Testimonials and previous learner results must not be interpreted as guarantees of future performance.

Learners should verify official examination dates, eligibility criteria, syllabus changes and regulations from the relevant examination authority.

9. Independence From Examination Authorities

Unless expressly stated otherwise, CaLeo Academy is an independent educational provider.

References to organisations, examinations or curricula including NEET, JEE, NTA, NCERT, CBSE, State Boards, universities, government departments and recruitment organisations are made for educational or descriptive purposes.

Such references do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or official affiliation.

Where official rules differ from information presented in educational content, the current official notification or regulation prevails.

10. Medical, First Aid and Professional Education

Medical, healthcare, first aid, occupational health and related content provided through CaLeo Academy is intended primarily for education and training.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, this content:

  • does not constitute personal medical advice;
  • does not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional;
  • does not authorise a learner to perform procedures requiring professional registration, licensing or supervised competency; and
  • does not create a government-recognised professional qualification merely by course completion.

Learners should verify whether a certificate or programme satisfies requirements imposed by employers, institutions, professional bodies or regulatory authorities.

In an emergency, appropriate emergency services and established emergency procedures should be followed.

11. Assessments and Academic Integrity

Courses may include quizzes, tests, examinations, assignments, projects, practical exercises and other forms of assessment.

Learners must submit their own work unless collaboration is specifically permitted.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • impersonating another learner;
  • submitting another person’s work as your own;
  • obtaining restricted assessment material improperly;
  • distributing confidential answer keys;
  • manipulating attendance or assessment records;
  • interfering with examination systems; and
  • other forms of academic dishonesty.

CaLeo Academy may investigate suspected academic misconduct and may cancel assessment results, withhold certificates or restrict Platform access when appropriate.

12. Certificates

Certificates may be issued to learners who satisfy the requirements of a particular course.

Certificates may contain verification information allowing third parties to confirm authenticity.

A CaLeo Academy certificate represents only the achievement stated on the certificate.

Unless expressly specified, it should not be represented as:

  • statutory registration;
  • a government licence;
  • a university degree;
  • professional registration; or
  • regulatory authorisation.

Certificates obtained through fraud, impersonation or serious academic misconduct may be revoked.

13. Live Classes and Recordings

Some programmes may include:

  • live classes;
  • webinars;
  • interactive sessions;
  • workshops; or
  • online discussions.

Users must behave respectfully during interactive sessions.

Sessions may be recorded for educational, administrative, safeguarding or quality purposes where appropriate notice has been provided.

Users must not independently record or redistribute classes without permission.

14. Reviews, Comments and Community Features

The Platform may allow users to post:

  • questions;
  • answers;
  • reviews;
  • comments;
  • discussion posts; or
  • other learner-generated content.

Users must communicate respectfully.

CaLeo Academy may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, fraudulent, sexually inappropriate, harassing or otherwise harmful.

Users should not publicly post unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise identified, original CaLeo Academy content is owned by or licensed to CaLeo Academy and is protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

This may include:

  • lessons;
  • videos;
  • audio;
  • notes;
  • diagrams;
  • illustrations;
  • animations;
  • presentations;
  • worksheets;
  • question banks;
  • assessments;
  • answer explanations;
  • software;
  • graphics;
  • logos;
  • branding; and
  • course structures.

Enrolment grants a learner a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use course materials for personal learning.

It does not transfer ownership.

Without written permission, users may not:

  • resell course content;
  • systematically copy course materials;
  • redistribute videos or downloadable resources;
  • upload protected material to another platform;
  • publicly distribute question banks or restricted assessments;
  • remove copyright notices;
  • screen-record content for redistribution;
  • share paid course access; or
  • use automated systems to extract substantial amounts of Platform content.

Personal study notes are permitted.

16. User-Submitted Material

Learners retain whatever intellectual-property rights they otherwise hold in original assignments, projects, questions or other material they submit.

By submitting content through the Platform, you permit CaLeo Academy to store, process and display the material as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate the Service;
  • assess work;
  • provide feedback;
  • maintain academic records;
  • investigate academic misconduct; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

Submitting work to the LMS does not transfer ownership of a learner’s original work to CaLeo Academy.

Separate consent may be obtained before identifiable student work, photographs, testimonials or achievements are used for promotional purposes.

17. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • attack or interfere with Platform security;
  • introduce malware;
  • bypass access controls;
  • scrape substantial course content without permission;
  • access another person’s account;
  • manipulate payments or enrolments;
  • use the Platform for unlawful activity;
  • harass other users;
  • falsely represent CaLeo Academy;
  • sell or transfer accounts; or
  • facilitate copyright infringement or academic misconduct.

18. Third-Party Services

The Platform may use third-party services for functions including:

  • payment processing;
  • video hosting;
  • live classes;
  • email;
  • messaging;
  • analytics;
  • authentication; and
  • hosting infrastructure.

Independent third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

19. Platform Availability

We aim to keep the LMS reasonably available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Temporary disruption may occur due to:

  • maintenance;
  • software updates;
  • hosting issues;
  • internet outages;
  • cybersecurity incidents;
  • third-party failures; or
  • events outside our reasonable control.

We will take reasonable measures to minimise significant disruption to active paid courses.

20. Suspension or Termination

CaLeo Academy may restrict or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:

  • serious or repeated violation of these Terms;
  • fraud;
  • payment abuse;
  • compromised credentials;
  • academic misconduct;
  • infringement of intellectual property;
  • threats to users or staff;
  • unlawful activity; or
  • security risks.

Where appropriate, reasonable notice or an opportunity to address the issue may be provided.

21. Account Closure

Users may request closure of their accounts by contacting:

Some information may need to be retained after account closure for purposes such as:

  • financial records;
  • certification verification;
  • academic records;
  • fraud prevention;
  • security;
  • legal compliance; or
  • dispute resolution.

22. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the CaLeo Academy Privacy Policy.

Users should review the Privacy Policy before registering.

23. Disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate educational information but cannot guarantee that every item will always be complete, current or error-free.

Educational content may be revised following:

  • syllabus changes;
  • scientific developments;
  • examination changes;
  • regulatory changes;
  • legal changes; or
  • identification of errors.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any protection that cannot legally be excluded.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CaLeo Academy will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from the use or temporary unavailability of the Platform.

Nothing in this section limits liability where limitation is prohibited by law or restricts statutory consumer remedies.

25. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as our Services, technologies or legal obligations change.

The current version will be displayed on the Platform with the date of the latest revision.

Where a material change affects existing users, we will use reasonable means to provide notice where appropriate.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Users are encouraged to contact CaLeo Academy first to resolve concerns.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules, courts and competent forums having jurisdiction in Pune, Maharashtra, India shall have jurisdiction where legally permissible.

Nothing prevents a consumer from approaching any consumer commission, regulator or other forum available under applicable law.
